All the leaves are brown
and the sky is grey
I've been for a walk
on a winter's day
if I was in L.A.
California Dreamin'
on such a winter's day
(lyrics from California Dreamin'-The Mamas and the Papas)
All the leaves are brown
and the sky is grey
I've been for a walk
on a winter's day
Before descovering the make-up world from Youtube I dindn´t know this brand but after seeing so many videos that recommend it, I thought it would be a good investment.
To begin with, the palletes have an unbeatble price: nowadays the Ultra Shimmer Palette costs 19.95$ whereas the Warm Palette costs 24.95$. That is, for the price of two Mac shadows, I can have 88 colours! Secondly, they are very pigmented, that is important.
They are amazing. This palette is ideal for those who want to start experimenting with colours. It is also ideal for those occasions in which we want to match the make-up with the clothes and for the party make-up, because it has practically any colour.
On the other hand, I think the Warm Palette is more appropriate for the every day make-up. This palette, unlike the previous, combines matte and shimmery shadows. Very recommended for those who work with the public. I’m saying this remembering my baker, who week after week proves her faithfulness to lilac, the shadow that has exclusivity on her eyelids. The faithfulness to a perfume may seam reasonable to me, but the faithfulness to a unique shadow is completely boring.

Each Monday I have to change trains in a train station. Between comings and goings of trains the same scene takes place: there comes a moment when I remain alone and an old lady seated on a bench on the platform in front of me is my only company. Each Monday happens the same: she puts her handbag by her side, she turns towards it and starts eating seeds. She’s my eating-seeds-old-lady. Sometimes I notice that she is looking at me as well, as if she was ensuring herself that she is not alone and that this Monday everything follows its course.
One Monday I found her before as usual when taking off the train and I’ve thought of talking to her. The incomprehensible whisper she dedicated to me spoiled all the charm and let me see the BEAUTY OF SILENCE.
It’s more than clear that this update is dedicated to my eating-seeds-better-not-talk-to-old-lady and after seeing her outfit Monday after Monday and notice her preference for black and white, I will not lose the opportunity of making her a proposal, fictitious this time, of a total CHANEL look.
How about you? Did you notice the silent human beings that surround you?
